Kulis — Terms of Service
Version: 0.1 (draft) · Effective date: [[YURURLUK_TARIHI]]
This is a draft and not legal advice. It must be reviewed by a licensed attorney before publication. Language and governing law. This is a faithful translation of the Turkish original (terms.tr.md). Turkish law governs; the Turkish text prevails in case of any discrepancy.1. Parties and scope
These terms govern your use of Kulis (kulis.ai and related domains), operated by [[VERI_SORUMLUSU_UNVAN]] ([[ADRES]], MERSIS: [[MERSIS]]). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. What the service is
Kulis is an event announcement and content distribution system for independent venues. You enter content once; Kulis distributes it to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Telegram through the accounts you connected. Optionally it generates pieces such as titles, descriptions, hashtags, thumbnails and transcripts with AI.
Kulis is currently in early access and is invite-only. The service is provided "as is"; we make no commitment that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular outcome. Features may change without notice.
3. Account and authorization
- You are responsible for the security of your account and password. If you notice unauthorized access, notify [[ILETISIM_EPOSTA]] immediately.
- You connect your own social accounts. You represent that you are the owner of, or authorized to publish from, each account you connect.
- Kulis acts only within the scopes you granted and only on actions you have approved. You may disconnect at any time; tokens are deleted when you do.
- Nothing publishes without your approval. Kulis does not publish content on its own initiative; every publication enters the queue with your approval.
- Kulis will not publish content it knows to violate the rules of a connected platform, and may refuse such a request.
4. Content: your content, your responsibility
Everything you upload and publish is your content; you keep ownership. You grant Kulis only a limited, time-bound, non-transferable right to use it as needed to provide the service (storage, re-encoding, delivery to the platforms you select). That right ends when the retention period expires or when you delete the content.
You represent and warrant that:
- You hold all necessary rights to the content you upload (copyright, neighbouring rights, music rights included), or have permission to use it.
- You have obtained the necessary notices and permissions from the people whose image or voice appears in the content. This includes performers on stage and the audience.
- The content does not violate the law, public morals or the rules of the platform it is published to, and contains no hate speech, harassment, misleading health/financial claims or unlawfully obtained personal data.
Specific warning about recording the audience. If you are a venue that records shows, you must clearly announce at the entrance and on the ticket page that recording takes place and may be shared on social media, and you must offer an area for people who do not wish to be filmed. A ready template is in docs/legal/venue-notice.tr.md (Turkish). Obtain written consent for sharing the name, image and performance of performers. This obligation is yours; Kulis does not obtain these permissions on your behalf and is not responsible for claims arising from your failure to obtain them.
5. AI output
- AI-generated titles, descriptions, hashtags, images, subtitles and transcripts may be wrong, incomplete or fabricated. Reading and correcting them before publication is your responsibility; in Kulis nothing is published without your approval.
- Always verify names, dates, times, prices and addresses yourself.
- Disclosure of AI-generated or AI-modified content (for example YouTube's "altered or synthetic content" declaration, TikTok's AIGC label, transparency duties under the EU AI Act) is your responsibility as publisher. Kulis does not make these declarations for you.
- AI generation incurs per-provider cost; your workspace's monthly budget cap is visible in settings, and no new generation starts once the cap is exceeded.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Kulis to: access accounts that are not yours; circumvent platform terms (fake engagement, bulk spam, automated account creation); distribute unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights; perform unauthorized scanning or load testing of the system; or reverse-engineer, replicate or resell the service.
7. Fees
Kulis is currently free during early access. If we move to paid plans:
- We will notify you by e-mail at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
- Price, currency, billing period and any taxes will be shown clearly on the checkout screen before you pay.
- Any written commitment given to you as part of early access (for example a period of free use) prevails over these terms.
- If you do not accept a paid plan, your account continues within whatever remains free, or is closed at your request, and you get a reasonable period to export your data.
Today there is no subscription, no auto-renewal and no stored card.
8. Suspension and termination
- You may close your account at any time ([[ILETISIM_EPOSTA]]). After closure, data is deleted according to the periods in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your account in case of a clear breach of these terms, unlawful content, use that threatens security, or a takedown request from a platform. We notify you before suspension where possible; in urgent and serious cases, notice follows afterwards.
- During early access we reserve the right to discontinue the service entirely; in that case we give at least 30 days' notice and time to export your data.
9. Limitation of liability
Kulis depends on the APIs of connected platforms. Because of platform rules, quotas, audit status or outages, publications may be delayed, restricted (for example "only me" on TikTok) or fail. Kulis is not liable for the consequences.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kulis is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages such as lost profit, lost business, reputational harm, data loss or reduced ticket sales. While the service is provided free of charge, our total liability is nil, except where liability cannot be limited by law (intent and gross negligence, death or bodily injury, mandatory consumer-law provisions). If charging begins, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Except where caused by our own gross fault, you will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or from your failure to meet your permission obligations.
10. Intellectual property
The Kulis software, interface, name and logo belong to [[VERI_SORUMLUSU_UNVAN]]. These terms grant you only the right to use the service; they grant no right to copy the trademark, the source code or the interface.
11. Privacy
How personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy (https://kulis.ai/privacy) and the KVKK information notice (https://kulis.ai/aydinlatma); both are an integral part of these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We announce material changes by e-mail or in-app at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means acceptance; if you do not accept, you may close your account.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Turkish law. The Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction. Users who qualify as consumers retain their right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.
